My Bio

My day job is a teacher. I can kick ass and take names in US History, Oklahoma History, World History, Geography, Government, Humanities, Economics and Speech/Drama/Debate. My specialty is the Second World War and I've been a living history reenactor since 2003. I've been a musician and occasional actor since the mid-80's. I've been with PITT since August of 2006 and have been interested in paranormal investigation since high school. The only serious investigative work I did before learning about PITT was in the early 1990's with my Aunt Deb when she and I were working on a book about the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, AR. Our numerous experiences there led me to eventually want to find a group locally to continue this pursuit. It took me ten years or so to finally find one, but here I am. I have five dogs and we're ready to launch our diabolical scheme to take over the world.

My Occupation

In '08 and '09 I taught Oklahoma History at Sand Springs, OK. I work as a singer in a band called Zink Park, act with Mahenwadose Productions and the American Indian Theater Company, and as a guest lecturer at local area high schools on the Second World War. In the summers I teach as an adjunct instructor in U.S. History, Government and Humanities up at OSU's Okmulgee campus. Recently I've worked as an exhibit coordinator at the Sand Springs Cultural and Historical Museum on a WWII exhibit. In the Spring of '09 I wrote, directed and acted in the Red Glove Revue, a yearly fundraiser for Tulsa Cerebral Palsy Association.

My Hobbies

In addition to the fun and games with PITT, I've been a singer and actor for the past twenty-some-odd years, working with a variety of bands playing the bars and private parties, or working onstage with the Tulsa Cerebral Palsy Association's fundraisers and the American Indian Theater Company. My big pursuit since '03 has been as a WWII living history reenactor. My unit is the color guard for the 45th Infantry Division Museum and we provide services for public functions (National Holidays, Brigade deployments, etc). We do historical presentations for schools and libraries, plus occasionally go out and shoot blanks at German reenactors in the woods and bitch about them not taking their hits... I also do secondary impressions as a sailor aboard the USS Batfish and as an infantryman in Kriegsmarine Kustenabteilung unit (that's German Naval Coastal Artillery to you non-squids).
